Waiting for the Cameras, the Outrage or Both?

Michelle Malkin reports today (courtesy of Egyptian bloggers Freedom for Egyptians and Rantings of an Egyptian Sandmonkey) that the cartoons we've been asked to believe have shocked and outraged the Muslim world were published by Egyptian paper Al Fager last October without incident. Were the outraged masses waiting for the cameras to arrive, or had they not yet been informed they were outraged? Maybe it was the fabricated pig cartoon that made all the difference.

As pointed out by Freedom for Egyptians, the editor of the Egyptian paper, unlike Jihad Momani and Hisham Khalidi, wasn't arrested.
